The National Council for Chief Sustainability Officers – CCSO is dedicated to celebrating individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to driving sustainability at the highest levels. Our Sustainability Excellence Awards recognize those who are making significant contributions to advancing sustainable practices, fostering innovation, and promoting environmental responsibility. Awards are presented in the following categories:

• Sustainability Trailblazer of the Year: Awarded to an individual or organization that has implemented forward-thinking solutions and breakthrough strategies to address sustainability challenges, setting new benchmarks for the industry.
• Leadership in Environmental Stewardship: Recognizes a leader who has consistently championed sustainability, influencing corporate strategies and policies that prioritize long-term environmental health and resource conservation.
• Community Sustainability Impact Award: Celebrates an individual or group that has led impactful initiatives to improve environmental outcomes and create sustainable opportunities within underserved or at-risk communities.
• Sustainability Collaboration Pioneer: Given to an individual or organization that has fostered partnerships and collaborations across sectors, demonstrating the power of collective action in achieving sustainability goals.
• Top 100 Chief Sustainability Officers: The most influential and innovative leaders in the field of sustainability, recognized for their contributions to environmental, social, and governance practices within their organizations and industries.
• Sustainability 50: A ranking of the top 50 individuals demonstrating exceptional sustainability leadership and performance in their roles as Chief Sustainability Officers or equivalent positions.
• Sustainability 100: A ranking of the top 100 individuals demonstrating exceptional sustainability leadership and performance in their roles as Chief Sustainability Officers or equivalent positions.
